Almost everything with an intriguing title has an intriguing story to go with it. But what if there was one, just one...with a completely, unbelievably, boring title? What if there was one plainly called, 'A Story'?
Would you read it? Does it sound intriguing enough? Would it seem interesting? There is that old saying: "Never judge a book by it's cover."
But what about by it's title? By it's blurb? By the author biography?
If it was titled just 'A Story.' There could be many possibilities to it, think about it... what if you read something simple as the title on the first page:
The girl looked around curiously, her arm reached towards the doorknob. Fingers clasped 'round it and began to turn, she pulled it open and peered in... then the monster came. Roaring filled her ears, she slammed the door shut and raced down the long dark hallway. Her feet pattered lightly on the rug, the hall came to a dead end and she was forced to turn and face it.
'A Story.' Make suck you in, the first page COULD be intriguing, COULD be interesting, COULD be exciting. You never know!! It could also stand for many other things. If someone has a seemingly plain, boring, quiet life titled 'A Story.' There is life in it, there is something to be pulled out of the monotones to become a flattering rainbow. Don't ever judge a book by it's cover, a story by it's title, or a life by it's appearance.
